Trying to do this, gives me the error message "Unable to install OS X 10.10, as a newer version is already installed". Unfortunately I get this message no matter how many times I try restarting. ![]() Please restart the computer and try again". I do have a time machine backup with Yosemite on, but when I try to restore, I get the message "an error occurred while erasing the drive. Now, when I boot up via CMD+R, I can try the following things: I was running the beta of El Capitan on my Macs only drive (I realize this is my own fault), some time ago it stopped working, I don't remember what went wrong. ![]() ![]() So let me start by saying my Mac is set to Danish, any system messages I'll write will be translated into English as well as I can.
